We’re inviting local artists and creatives from the EC2 postcode area to submit work for our upcoming community exhibition at The Photobook Café, running 15–18 January 2026.

• Opening night: Thursday 15 January 2026, 6pm–late

• Exhibition dates: 15–18 January 2026

• Venue: The Photobook Café

• Submission deadline: 15 December 2025 (midnight)

• Notifications sent: 16 December 2025

• Artwork delivery: 14–15 January 2026 (in person or by post)

• Collection deadline: 25 January 2026

• Access: please note our basement gallery has no step free access and 25 steps.

Eligibility

This open call is free and open to anyone who lives or works in the EC2 postcode area. All mediums are welcome.

Submission Guidelines

• Submit via our online submissions form on this page

• Include your name, contact details, and brief information about your work.

• You may upload 1 image per submission.

• All works must come with appropriate hanging fixtures or display supports.

• Please avoid sensitive or offensive content — unsuitable submissions will not be considered.

Delivery & Collection

• Works can be dropped off in person or sent by post by 14th January.

• Please note: We are closed for Christmas from 21 December 2025 – 4 January 2026 and cannot accept parcels during this time.

• Artists are responsible for their own delivery, return, and courier costs.

• All works must be collected by 25 January 2026.

Curatorial Notes

Curation and installation will be handled exclusively by The Photobook Café team.
