
Our shelves are stacked with hundreds of rare, cult, self-published and obscure photobooks, zines and magazines, that you are welcome to browse when you visit. For a few moments of offline analogue pleasure we can highly recommend a drink and a book. We’ve been building our collection for several years and are very grateful to all the artists & photographers that have donated their work to this unique collection.
How it works
Our Archive works on a donation basis, following the contribution terms and conditions specifications. To ensure our collection remains accessible to all we're not able to accept walk-in donations without being pre-approved. Please note we do not have a bookshop, nor do we stock or sell publications.
University and Community Tours
Private Tours and Talks of our photobook collection can be booked upon request with our archivist, please email us with details of your date and requirements.
Public Programme
All newly contributed publications will be featured within our quarterly reading room hosted in our basement gallery. This will be a open free event for all and advertised via our website with links to all featured photobooks.
Access
Our collection is an free open resource accessible 7 days a week during our opening hours. Books cannot be taken away however you're welcome to browse as many as you like with your visit. Our collection has step free access from our road level cafe, and our staff will retrieve books at high height.
